My Journey to Becoming a Doula
Hi, I'm Aline, a Postpartum Doula and Certified Newborn Care Specialist dedicated to supporting families during the early weeks after welcoming a new baby.
My journey into this work is deeply personal. After experiencing a pregnancy loss, I found myself navigating a world of emotions, questions, and uncertainties. During that time, I realized how overwhelming it can feel when you don't have the information, reassurance, and support you need.
For many years, I have worked closely with families as a nanny, caring for babies and young children. Even with years of hands-on experience, I began to notice that there were still many questions I didn't have clear answers to — especially when it came to the postpartum period, newborn development, and how to best support both the baby and the mother during those first weeks.
That realization inspired me to deepen my knowledge and pursue professional training. Today, I am a Certified Postpartum Doula and Certified Newborn Care Specialist, as well as CPR certified. My work is guided by evidence-based practices, safety, and a deep respect for each family's unique journey.
I believe the postpartum period deserves calm, compassionate support. My goal is to help families feel more confident, informed, and cared for while they adjust to life with their new baby.
"It is truly an honor for me to walk alongside families during such a meaningful and transformative chapter of their lives."
